Are there other fees besides the monthly fee?

Storage Stables rentals are month to month. No commitments or contracts required. You keep it as long as you wish. No notice to cancel required.

Do I need temperature controlled?

Whether or not you need a temperature controlled unit depends on where you live, what time of year it is, and what you are storing. See our temperature controlled section or call us for more details.

When can I access my unit?

Our normal gate hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Seven days a week including Sundays and Holidays. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8 am to 3 pm. Closed Sunday.

Are my belongings secure?

Yes. Storage Stables is completely fenced and takes extra measures to ensure your belongings are secure with security cameras, on- site management and computer controlled electronic gate access. We recommend that you purchase a disk lock for your unit as these are the most secure types of locks.

Who has access to my belongings?

Only you have access to your belongings.

Does the facility have moving carts?

Yes, hand carts and dollies are available to help you get your items into your unit.

Where can I buy moving and packing supplies?

Storage Stables sells a full line of moving and packing supplies including boxes, tape, bubble wrap, labels, markers, mattress covers, padlocks and more.

Does the storage facility insure the contents of my unit?

No. Storage Stables does not insure your belongings. You must provide your own insurance. You can purchase insurance at the time of rental in the office if your homeowners or renters policy does not cover the contents of your storage unit.

What types of items are not allowed in my storage unit?

Hazardous, flammable, toxic, or illegal items should not be stored in a storage unit. Food is also not a good item to store in a storage unit as it can attract unwanted pests and is tangible.

Can I store my car, boat, or RV?

Yes, we have indoor or outdoor storage for most vehicles depending on size. Please check with our friendly staff on availability depending on the size of the vehicle, boat, or RV you wish to store.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?

Indoor units are located inside the building and must be accessed by going inside. They are typically more secure and safe from extreme weather. Outdoor units have doors that face outside of the building. Many outdoor units offer the convenience of drive-up access.

What is a drive up unit?

A drive up unit is an outside unit located on the first floor so that you can drive directly up to the unit to load and unload your belongings.

How high are the ceilings?

Ceilings in most storage units are 8-10 feet high.

What is computer controlled access?

As a renter you are given a gate code or PIN number. This allows you to get onto the property and access your unit. No one without a gate code or PIN number is allowed on the property. This ensures that only people that are renting units have access to the property.

Do you offer moving trucks?

Yes. We offer low cost moving trucks with complimentary moving aids such as blankets and dollies for your convenience. The typical size of our moving trucks is 17 foot (840 cubic feet) rated for a 2 bedroom household. All of our trucks have pull out ramps which makes loading easy. We also rent a truck with a hydraulic lift truck for those large heavy items you may need to move.
